1. Read about the different types of drawings we use in Technology on page 9.
Underline the characteristics of each type of design drawing:
What makes them different?
Who would use it?
What makes them useful for inventers, designers, manufacturers, etc.
2. Study the diagrams on the first few pages of the attached document (OrthoIso Drawing).
Use different colours to show the position of points, lines and planes on the diagrams on page 9.
3. Now look at the 12 diagrams (to identify the planes of the front view, top view and side view) before completing p 10 and 15 -18 in your file. This is lesson preparation for the next lesson.

Study the correct answers and make sure that you understand where and why you made your mistakes (if any).
For page 17 you need to check that all the lines match exactly. Your drawing must be an exact copy of the original, only larger.
