9. Animal Tissues (Term 1, Week 9)

We remind you to look at your Year Plan, and this explains why we are continuing with this section. The Slides agree with our sequence here, but the Study Guide starts with Plant Tissues. The Department has told us to look at Animal Tissues first (page 23) and then come back to Plant Tissues.

This week we put similar cells together to form an animal tissue. Each tissue has a function in the animal, and together all these tissues make up the different working parts of the animal.

Different Epithelial Tissues cover different structures in the animal's body. Connective Tissues join different tissues together. Muscle Tissues are used to move the body. And Nerve Tissues are connected with the brain.

Do not forget to answer the questions properly, BEFORE you mark them.
