Nutrient Cycles (Term 3, Week 5, 23-27 August)

We conclude our section on biotic and abiotic factors by studying how certain chemicals that are essential for life will keep circulating (in cycles) in the environment. These chemicals include Water, Carbon, Oxygen, and Nitrogen. These are beautifully described (in words and in diagrams) in both your Study Guide and in your Apollo slides.

We finish this Section on the Environment by emphasising the occurrence and importance of Eco-Tourism. How people across the world involve themselves in Nature, and must be encouraged to do so.

The usual consolidation questions await you in your Work Book - answer them on your own, and then correct them when you have finished.
