Analytical Geometry Lesson 1 | 02 July 2021

Good morning Grade 11 Learners.

Topic: Analytical Geometry.

Time: 40 minutes

Introduction:

Analytical Geometry is the study where the following terms/quantities are used in solving methamatical challenges. 

1. Gradient - is the slope or the steepness of a graph.

2. Inclination of a line - is the angle that a line makes with the horizontal.

3. Collinear points - points found on a same straight line graph.

4. Area of a parallelogram - [ A= Base x perpendicular height. A=Bxh ]

These are just few terms to ponder about today. 

Speend round about 40 minutes on this Lesson.

1. Do Worksheet Part 1: Exercise 4.3 No 1 and when done kindly compare your solutions to the Memo loaded on the attached document.
