Evidence shows that a massive number of different organisms arose at the end of the Archaen Eon (570 million years ago), and this started the Phanerozoic Eon. The first Era of this Eon is called the Cambrian Era. The reasons for this sudden growth of life are suggested in your Study Guide and in your slides.
